µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Alumni Loyalty Discount

Take the next step in your studies with 10% off tuition fees on an eligible taught postgraduate programme at The University of µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp.

If you completed your undergraduate studies at The University of µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp or µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Metropolitan University (µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Met), or you’re currently in your final year at either institution, you may be eligible. 

This discount is open to: 

• The University of µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp graduates and final-year undergraduate students; and 
• µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Met graduates and final-year undergraduate students. 

If you’re eligible, the discount will be applied when you start your studies.

Eligibility

To receive a discount on your postgraduate taught programme fees, you must: 

1. be registered on one of our eligible postgraduate taught programmes (including PGCert, PGDip, online and distance learning programmes) starting between September 2026 and August 2027; &²Ô²ú²õ±è;
2. have completed an undergraduate degree at The University of µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp or one of its predecessor institutions (The Victoria University of µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp or UMIST), or an undergraduate degree licensed or validated by The University of µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp, and notify us that you have done (or expect to do) so, or 
3. have completed an undergraduate degree* at µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Metropolitan University.

 The eligibility criteria are subject to change and the Alumni Loyalty Discount may be withdrawn in future years.  

*Foundation Degree, PGCE and Master’s degrees are not eligible for the discount. 

Eligible courses

The µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Alumni Loyalty Discount is available on most of our taught postgraduate programmes. However, we do not offer the discount for:  

• ±Ê³Ò°ä·¡â€¯&²Ô²ú²õ±è;
• MSc Adult Nursing  
• Research master’s, such as MPhil and MRes (master's by research)  
• Programmes jointly awarded with another institution, including Architecture programmes offered jointly with µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Met (applications are made to µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Met and they'll assess eligibility for the discount) 
• Integrated undergraduate master's degrees, such as MChem, MEng  
• Intercalating medicine students on PGT programmes  

Application of the discount

If you are eligible, the µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Alumni Loyalty Discount will take the form of a tuition fee discount, which will reduce the amount payable to the University. No monies will be paid directly to you. The remainder of the tuition fee is then payable according to our Student Terms and Conditions. You are expected to fund the remaining balance of your studies from other sources.  

You are liable for all other costs associated with your study. There is no cash substitute, transfer facility or any other variation from the tuition fee discount.  

Your offer letter will show the full tuition fee amount. 

Courses with a duration of two or more years: 

For courses with a duration of two or more years (including part-time study), you will receive the discount in each year of your programme. 

Applicants who wish to defer entry:  

Applicants who choose to defer their entry will have their eligibility assessed for the next year of entry, subject to the availability of the discount.

Other funding: 

You may be eligible for the µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Alumni Loyalty Discount even if you:  

• receive a postgraduate loan; &²Ô²ú²õ±è;
• are awarded the µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Master’s Bursary and/or any other bursary or scholarship awarded by The University of µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp; or  
• are, or will be, in receipt of funding (for either tuition fees or living costs) from an external body which will be invoiced by the University for fees (such as Government, charity or a private organisation).   

The µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Alumni Loyalty Discount will be applied before any other discounts, and before any bursaries or scholarships.  

How to apply 

Graduates and final year undergraduates of The University of µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp

Complete our  and indicate that you are an alumni or a final year undergraduate where asked. If you know your student ID, provide it. We’ll apply the µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Alumni Loyalty Discount automatically once we have verified your undergraduate degree. 

Graduates and final year undergraduates of µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Metropolitan University 

We’ll identify you from your application form and will apply the discount once we’ve verified your undergraduate degree certificate. 

If you are an alumni of either µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp or µÎµÎ´òÅÚapp Met applying for the MA Social Work through UCAS, we will identify you from your UCAS application and you are not required to do anything else. 

You’ll receive confirmation of your eligibility prior to the start of your postgraduate programme.
